I'm critiquing this on behalf of *CritiqueWeek, so here goes
This is stunning in full view. The scarf and the eyes look incredibly real! I was amazed at the detailed fabric pattern, it really offsets the airbrushed and painted look of the skin and hair. The song compliments the picture in great ways, it is a wonderful inspiration. (And it is nice to see I am not the only person who includes song lyrics in their deviation description!)
The background compliments the pose and expression very nicely. I feel cold looking at it, yet I wish I was there and could see what he sees
The only problem I found, to my eye, is the cropping. It would have been better for impact overall if there had been more of his shoulder included in the picture. It's not overly distracting, but it takes away from the picture, it seems unfinished and perhaps as if you became bored before completion. It's minor though, and purely from my standpoint.
The hair makes up for the shoulder, personally. It's wonderful! I love the style, it's unique and distinctive and gives him personality. I love how it goes every which way but seems completely natural.
Overall, I was very impressed, but if you were to ever come back to this, I'd suggest more of the torso/shoulder, just to give him a more complete feel.
